Maison Johanès Boubée, now the largest wine wholesaler in France, came into being over a century ago in the heart of the Chartrons quarter, the traditional home of the Bordeaux wine trade.

Today, it is a subsidiary of the world's second-largest distributor, the Carrefour Group. Being a part of this Group has given the firm experience of the markets and expertise that it can now place at the disposal of its clients, in particular export markets.

Its entire commercial policy is orchestrated around a federative structure made up of trading houses in the main wine-growing areas of France:

• Maison Johanès Boubée for the wines of Bordeaux and the South-West.
• Vignes et Terroirs du Beaujolais for Beaujolais wines.
• Les Caves Saint-Ronain for the wines of the Rhone Valley
• Les Celliers des Terres de Loire for the wines of the Loire
• Maison Chausseron for Burgundy wines.
• Les Celliers des Terres de France for Vins de Pays.

These bases ensure that we benefit from in-depth knowledge of the terroirs, of wine production and the vine and wine sector as a whole.
